I’m Melanie and I Turned My Passion Into a Reality

I always loved writing when I was younger and wanted to be an author. I wrote lots of stories when I was a kid but, as is usually the case upon growing up, ‘real life’ happened and I forgot my dream, getting a ‘normal’ job instead.

Over 10 years ago, the company I worked for suddenly closed down so I had the unexpected opportunity to try something new. I studied proofreading and, after qualifying, began working for companies online.

This led to a couple of clients asking me if I’d consider writing for them. So what did I say? Did I jump at the chance? No…I panicked and said I didn’t know how to write, that I hadn’t written anything ‘properly’ since I was at school. But one client persisted and wouldn’t take no for an answer…

That was the start of my writing career and I’ve never looked back. No matter what’s stopping you from pursuing your dream of writing, you can overcome it! I’ll help to show you how and get you over the various hurdles that I’ve come across over the years.
